Hobbies are necessary for four things:

1. Unlocking achievements,
2. Unlocking jobs,
3. Unlocking characters,
4. Relationship requirements.

Every hobby takes up 3 time blocks, and like jobs, can be paused and later resumed.

1. Active Hobby - This hobby is being actively worked on, and is using 3 time blocks.
2. Paused Hobby - This hobby is paused, taking no time blocks.
3. Completion Time - This is the time it will take to reach the next level in that particular hobby.
4. Selected Hobby - This is the sprite showing the hobby you last selected.
