Phone Flings is a game mode where you can exchange text messages with several girls (Crush Crush) or guys (Blush Blush). How the conversations turn out depends on whether you are playing in the SFW mode or the NSFW mode. Conversation progress is unaffected by prestige (soft reset). A hard reset will clear all of your conversation history.
The Phone Flings mode is unlocked when you meet the unlock requirements of the first Phone Fling. For Crush Crush, that is Frenemy level with Elle. For Blush Blush, that is Boyfriend level with Nimh. Once you unlock the Phone Flings mode, a phone icon appears near the top of the game screen. Meeting the unlock requirements of later Phone Flings without unlocking the first one will not unlock the Phone Flings mode.
Your Phone[]
Someone sent you a text. Better tap on your phone icon and see who it's from! Your phone has an impressive Caller-ID system, showing you the names of the people texting you after a single incoming text! Select the conversation you want to look at – the ones with new incoming messages are marked NEW, and the ones waiting for you to send a reply are marked with an exclamation point (!).
Once you have selected a conversation, there are a few interactive game elements:
- Progress towards the next selfie
- Cooldown timer
- NOW (diamond)
- Photo album
- Reset fling (end of conversation only)
Each fling will send you three selfies, though the third selfie is not necessarily the end of the conversation. Additional conversations may be unlocked by other interactions, and they sometimes unlock more selfies. The progress indicator shows you how many messages you have received towards the next selfie.
The cooldown timer shows how long it will take your texting partner to send you his/her next message. You can skip the wait by tapping on NOW (the diamond). When the timer reaches 3 seconds, the phone display shows an ellipsis, as if to indicate that the character is typing.
If you decide you can't wait for the next message, tapping on NOW allows you to spend diamonds to skip to the next message now. The diamond cost to skip the Cooldown depends on how long is left on the timer:

The Cooldown can also be reduced on all your timers by purchasing a Time Skip from the store; including 30 min Time Skip for Mobile Version (Prior to Mobile Ver 0.304 which Watching ads to 30 min time skip is overhauled) and 12-hour PF Timer Cooldown skip (exclusive for Mobile Version-watching ads)
Above the NOW button is a photo album for the character you are texting. Here you can see at a glance all the selfies that have been sent to you so far, without having to scroll back and hunt for each one.
Phone Fling resets were first introduced to Blush Blush in v. 0.023, and added to Crush Crush in v. 0.304 (slightly earlier for Mobile). This feature allows you to restart a completed conversation from the very beginning. This allows you to see how the conversation unfolds when you change your responses without having to hard reset your entire game. Phone Fling girls/guys that become date-able are exempt from being reset because you only end up meeting them in person as a result of your texting adventure.

- Date-able Phone Fling girls/guys can still be reset by hard resetting your entire game, though this erases all of your other progress, diamonds, etc.
- Pictures and conversations in the Phone Flings Series may differ between Platforms (Mobile Version [iOS/Android], Console [Nintendo Switch] and PC Version) as well as the SFW Version (Steam/Kongregate/Nutaku.com Version) and Uncut/Moist and Uncensored Version (Steam Naughty DLC/Nutaku.net Version) of the game.
- If you unlock a Phone Fling character but soft reset before opening the conversation, you will need to unlock the character again before you can open it. However, once you open a Phone Fling conversation, that character will remain unlocked until you hard reset your game.
