1/34 | Hello. | |
2/34 | It's... Renée. | |
3/34 | You probably don't remember me. It's been a very very long time since we last spoke. | |
4/34 | In fact, I just sort of realized that "texting" wasn't really a thing back then. So... | |
5/34 | I don't suppose you have any idea who I am? | |
(A) | Not a clue, Renée. But please feel free to jog my memory. | |
(B) | Well, the name rings a bell... | |
6/34 | Ahh, okay. I'm not surprised, actually. | That's actually a really fun choice of words. |
7/34 | It's been a really long time, and I don't imagine I made... Much of an impression. | You and I used to race to see who got to ring the dinner bell, back at the old cabin at Hot Chocolate Lake. |
8/34 | I was sort of a quiet girl, back then. I always had trouble making myself heard. | So I suppose that "rings a bell" sort of rings a bell for me. |
9/34 | This might sound a bit strange, depending on how much you remember, but you and I used to be childhood friends. | |
10/34 | We used to play together in the summertime, at a big cabin / campground place that our families went to. | |
11/34 | We had a bunch of adventures together. And you liked to cause a whole lot of mischief. | |
12/34 | It seemed like you were always causing some funny situation or scene. Crushing things by accident. | |
13/34 | You were my favorite person. And I just wanted to see how you were doing. | |
(A) | Oh yes! Renée! Oh my gosh, we're talking "before YewToob" sort of old, aren't we? | |
(B) | I'm afraid I don't remember, but don't be sad. My memory sucks. I'd love to catch up! | |
14/34 | Yes! We used to watch videos on Newsground, I think it was? We had a CrySpace page. Hahaha! | Oh for sure, I wasn't expecting you to remember me. But I'm glad I get the chance to chat with you. |
15/34 | Oh, I'm so happy you remember. =) | I was bracing for a quick number block. So this conversation is already a huge success! |
16/34 | I got your number from a private investigator. | |
17/34 | ...Which sounds a lot creepier than I intended. I didn't hire them! | |
18/34 | I overheard her talking to someone over the phone, and I recognized the description. | |
19/34 | Come to think of it, I'm not really sure why she gave it to me... | |
20/34 | I just sort of asked, and she was super helpful and nice... | |
(A) | That's... Deeply concerning. But I've found it best to take stuff like that in stride. | |
(B) | Oh, no worries. I've got at least a few stalkers, and I'm on just about every government watch list. | |
21/34 | Well, like I said, you used to cause a lot of mischief back in the day. =) | Oh wow! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, given the mischief you used to cause all the time. |
22/34 | Anyway, I'm up at Hot Chocolate Lake right now, where we used to play. | |
23/34 | Destiny dropped your number in my lap. | |
24/34 | And I felt... | |
25/34 | Like I really had to say hello. | |
26/34 | So... Hello. | |
(A) | Hello. | |
(B) | Howdy doo, buckaroo. | |
27/34 | Hello. =) | Lol! You still have the same sense of humor as you did when we were kids, I see. |
28/34 | Err... Again. Hello again. | A fine howdy doo back to you. |
(A) | Don't mean to be a doubter, but I'd love a little more proof that this isn't a catfishing scam... | |
(B) | So how's life? Did you change your hair color? Do you have hair? | |
29/34 | Oh, how silly of me! | Oh! That gives me an idea! |
30/34 | I could just send you a picture, to see if you recognized me. | |
31/34 | Hold on, I'll fix this right away. | |
Pause | 6 hour pause | |
32/34 | I'm back! | |
33/34 | Here you go. I'm just about to wade into the lake, like we used to do. | |
34/34 | [Renée photo 1] | |
1/42 | The water is perfect. Crystal clear and just a little chilly. | |
2/42 | The way we loved it back then. | |
(A) | Wow! You've grown! I think you may be taller than me now! | |
(B) | Wow, you're... You're really something else. | |
3/42 | LOL! | Oh! |
4/42 | Well, I suppose that's only fair. | Umm, thank you! |
5/42 | You were always, like, an inch taller than me for most of our childhood. | I mean, I hope that was a compliment. |
6/42 | You used to spike your hair up, so you would be just that much taller. | I'm sort of terrible at detecting sarcasm... |
7/42 | You would use so much gel, you could stick to the wall if you pushed your scalp against it. | You know what, never mind. I will take the title of "something else" and wear it proudly. |
8/42 | Do you remember playing in the lake with me? | |
(A) | Yeah, we used to throw sand, and catch minnows in a butterfly net. | |
(B) | Not really. Or maybe I do, and I just really want to hear you talk about it. | |
9/42 | Yes yes! You always told me they were baby sharks. | We used to wear our flip flops into the water on purpose. |
10/42 | And I would scream everytime they got close, and beg you to save me. | And see who could keep them on their feet the longest. |
11/42 | I was... Sort of a chicken back then. But in my defense, you were really good at making me believe random stuff. | You always won, because your toes were so much more flexible than mine. I remember being jealous of that. |
12/42 | My favorite part was always looking for quartz rocks under water, with our goggles. | |
13/42 | I was convinced they were treasure. And I MADE you find them with me. | |
14/42 | You always found the most. Probably because I'm pretty blind without my glasses. | |
15/42 | I still have buckets of white quartz rocks up here, at the lake. | |
(A) | Nah, I found the most 'cause I'm fast and awesome at stuff. For sure. | |
(B) | It sounds like we used to have a lot of fun together. | |
16/42 | LOL! You goof. | Oh wow, did we ever! |
17/42 | You made me laugh so much, back then. | We would play games and tell stories and look for trouble from dawn to dusk. |
18/42 | You even made milk come out of my nose! Twice! | Our parents would yell for us at meal times, and ring the bell over and over. |
19/42 | You were a menace! | They were magical summers. Truly. |
20/42 | And my best friend. | You were... pretty much my best friend. |
(A) | It's a shame we lost touch. I wish it had been easier to stay friends back then. | |
(B) | Whatever I meant to you, you meant to me double. | |
21/42 | Yeah, I was thinking the same. | Oh! Wow! |
22/42 | There are times, looking back, that I swear I must have imagined how much fun we had. | Hahaha! I'm sorry, that really made me tear up and laugh kind of weird. |
23/42 | It feels surreal and perfect, in memory. And it stays with me. | Sorry! I cry at rom coms and cartoons all the time. I am not a good measurement for sentiment. |
24/42 | The last time we saw each other, we were a little older. Do you remember? | |
25/42 | We had this game we played, called "JUMP!" Which maybe we shouldn't have, since we weren't kids any longer. | |
26/42 | We would dare each other to do something crazy. And anyone who chickened out had to jump into the lake with their clothes on. | |
(A) | I remember, You dared me to kiss a bear, I seem to recall... | |
(B) | I remember you made me jump in while I was wearing my cool jean jacket. I almost drowned. | |
27/42 | Oh yes! LOL! | Oh my, I remember! |
28/42 | That was the time I was wearing my new skirt, and didn't want to get it wet. | Denim was not a good idea to swim in. What with it turning into deadly cement when it's wet. |
29/42 | Hahaha! Can you imagine? Kissing a bear? I totally cheated. | But, in fairness, it's also not a good idea to wear as a jacket. LOL! |
30/42 | Well, I'm so happy you remember some of the adventures we used to have. | |
31/42 | They meant a lot to me. I cherish those memories. | |
32/42 | Whenever I talk about my childhood with new friends or family, you come up an awful lot. | |
33/42 | So... Thank you. | |
34/42 | Thank you for being so much fun. And so kind and funny and... | |
35/42 | Amazing. | |
(A) | You're welcome. But thank you too. For keeping those memories so safe. | |
(B) | I'm completely different now. I'm a grouch who hates fun and steals presents. | |
36/42 | You're welcome too. | LOL! Gosh, that is such a "you" answer. |
37/42 | Hold on, I want to send you one more pic. | |
38/42 | Just something better for remembering me and the good times! | |
39/42 | Be right back! | |
Pause | 1 day pause | |
40/42 | Okay got it! | |
41/42 | It was a bit tricky, but here you go. | |
42/42 | [Renée photo 2] | |
1/57 | Maybe sometime we'll play "JUMP!" or Truth or Dare again. | |
(A) | Yup, much taller now. You would have been half submerged back in the day. | |
(B) | I wish I was there right now. I would dunk you in a heartbeat. | |
2/57 | Yes, exactly! Now I'm the master of the waves! | LOL! Of course you would. |
3/57 | I... I would like to tell you something. | |
4/57 | In fact, it's the main reason I reached out to you. But I've been delaying saying it. | |
5/57 | But it's something I've wanted to tell you... Well, since forever. | |
(A) | That's much too long to hold onto a secret. I'm listening. | |
(B) | Are you a mermaid or something? A mime and/or clown? Tell me! | |
6/57 | I... I agree. | LOL! No no, I'm not any of those things. |
7/57 | But now I'm kind of nervous and shaking and my heart is racing. This secret isn't making it easy on me. | I imagine friendship and romance would be a lot more complicated in a world where those things could be true. |
8/57 | I never told you, the last time we were together, just how I felt about you. | |
9/57 | You had always been my best friend, and I didn't want to change anything. | |
10/57 | But I realize now that my feelings went so far beyond that. | |
11/57 | I... | |
Pause | 1 hour pause | |
12/57 | I fell in love with you. | |
13/57 | And I still... Kind of am. | |
(A) | Renée, that's nothing to be scared about! It's flattering and amazing! | |
(B) | I... I don't know what to say. I'm... Blown away. | |
14/57 | Then why does it feel like I'm going to pass out??? >.< | Oh, I hope you're not upset! |
15/57 | Oh gosh, I can't believe I said it. I'm... I'm so relieved you're not offended or mad or anything. | I've just held onto these feelings for so long, that I really wanted to tell you, at last, how I felt! |
16/57 | I know this probably sounds really dumb and weird. | |
17/57 | But I've never forgotten the way I felt about you. | |
18/57 | I mean - it hasn't interfered with my life. So don't get me wrong! | |
19/57 | I've fallen in love with other people. I've been happy and healthy and good. | |
20/57 | I just... I don't think I could ever forget you. | |
21/57 | You're so special to me. Even though you're almost a stranger now. | |
(A) | We could never be strangers, Renée. We're tight, now and forever. | |
(B) | You're sending me on a crazy feel trip here... | |
22/57 | That makes me so happy to hear! You have no idea! Ahhh! I'm crying! | Gah, I'm sorry! You sort of accidentally sent me on that ride a long time ago, and I've never gotten off it! LOL! |
23/57 | I'm glad to finally tell you all that. | |
24/57 | And I'm more glad that you didn't do the 'worst case scenario' I imagined you might... | |
25/57 | (Which was to somehow reach through the phone and give me a pity pat on the head...) | |
26/57 | You have no idea how happy you made me today. | |
(A) | I'm glad to hear I wasn't as awkward and unusual as a kid as I've always assumed I was. | |
(B) | This has been a rollercoaster conversation. But you're beautiful and special and amazing. | |
27/57 | Either that, or that's just the sort of person I'm into. LOL! | I rehearsed what to say a hundred times, and then wound up just stumbling through all this as awkwardly as possible. |
28/57 | Well, I'm glad I got all of that off my chest. I guess I should let you get back to your normal life now. LOL! | |
29/57 | Before I go, though... I'd love to play one last game of truth or dare... | |
Pause | 1 hour pause | |
30/57 | If you're okay with that idea. | |
(A) | Alright, sure! You go first. | |
(B) | Alright, do your worst. | |
31/57 | Okay! If you lose, you have to buy an all denim outfit and wear it where people can see you! | Oh I will! If you lose, you have to buy an all denim outfit and wear it where people can see you! |
32/57 | What do I have to do if I lose? | |
(A) | What else? You have to show me your undies! | |
(B) | Take an embarrassing photo and send it to me! | |
33/57 | LOL! I think that was the last thing you demanded from me, the last time we played. | This game is so much more dangerous, with the invention of easy-access cameras! LOL! |
34/57 | Some things never change. <3 | Okay, I'll try to send you my most embarrassing photo ever. |
35/57 | Okay, what's my dare? | |
(A) | Kiss a rice cooker! | |
(B) | Post this conversation on the internet! | |
36/57 | LOL! Okay, I wasn't expecting a request like that. | Oh my no! D= |
37/57 | Unfortunately, I don't know any rice cookers nearly well enough to kiss them. So I'll pass. | Wow, I'm sorry. I don't mind doing silly embarrassing things, but I'm terrible at sharing feelings. Pass! |
38/57 | Well, hopefully you fail your dare, so we go to round 2. | |
39/57 | For your dare, I'm going to use an old favorite of mine... | |
40/57 | You have to... | |
Pause | 5 minute pause | |
41/57 | Kiss a bear! LOL! | |
(A) | (Send her a picture of Bearverly.) | |
(B) | (Send her two pictures of Bearverly.) | |
Pause | 1 minute pause | |
42/57 | Wha??? | WHOA MY GOODNESS! |
43/57 | Did you really??? | |
44/57 | Is this a?!? | |
45/57 | And you?! | |
46/57 | Oh my goodness, I was just sort of joking... | |
47/57 | But you ACTUALLY kissed a bear! | |
48/57 | LOL! Oh my gosh, you really are still having crazy adventures, all these years later. | |
49/57 | Umm... Okay, I lose. | |
50/57 | But I'm kind of happy, honestly. | |
51/57 | I'd love to send you something special, just from me to you. | |
(A) | You're a good sport. I sort of cheated. =) | |
(B) | If I get to see more of you now as a result, then those were great adventures indeed. | |
52/57 | That's kind of perfect, actually. | I hope someday you can tell me more of the things you've been up to. |
53/57 | Hold on... | |
Pause | 3 day pause | |
54/57 | Okay, I'm back. | |
55/57 | A nice embarrassing photo of my undies. | |
56/57 | I... I hope you enjoy it. | |
57/57 | [Renée photo 3] | |
1/∞ | Take care, my long lost love. | |
2/∞ | May we meet again. | |
(A) | Take care. And this time, I won't forget you. | |
(B) | You're beautiful. | |
3/∞ | That's all I ever wanted. | Thank you. You are beautiful in every way to me. |
4/∞ | Take care, my darling Marshmallow from Hot Chocolate Lake. | |
5/∞ | <3 |

2/57 | Yes... I am. | Yes... I do. |
3/57 | Sorry, this was the wrong way to do this. | |
4/57 | I've been so happy chatting with you, talking about what you meant to me... | |
5/57 | But I also wanted to tell you something. Something I've held onto for... Forever. | |
(A) | Go on. I'm listening. I'm here. | |
(B) | Holy smokes, don't leave me hanging! | |
6/57 | Wow! I'm so nervous suddenly! | Sorry, my hands are shaking because my heart is racing. |
7/57 | I've wanted to tell you this forever, and now I feel like I'm going to faint! | I'm terrible at texting. |
(A) | Renée - I'm not totally sure what's happening here, but I'm digging it like crazy. | |
(B) | Have you thought about us... When you're alone? | |
22/57 | Hahaha! What's happening is I showed you a picture of my nakedness to work up the nerve to say I like you. | I... I have. I've pictured us together. I've fantasized about you... Pleasuring me. |
(A) | I want to... see you. I want to see you touch yourself. | |
(B) | Show me what you look like when you imagine I'm there. When you imagine us making love. | |
33/57 | I... Yes, I can do that. | Okay... If you would enjoy to see me like that. |
34/57 | I've never done anything like that before, but... I would be excited to do it for you. | I might have to "pretend" a little, because I'm so excited and nervous. LOL! |
55/57 | A picture of me... Thinking of you. | |
56/57 | I... I hope you enjoy it. | |
57/57 | [NSFW photo] | |
1/∞ | Take care, my long lost love. | |
2/∞ | May we meet again. | |
(A) | You're incredible. I want to make love to you so bad. | |
(B) | Remember this picture. Someday, it'll be me doing it to you. | |
3/∞ | I... I want that too. Maybe someday. | Don't make such promises... I will live forever in anticipation. |
4/∞ | Take care, my darling Marshmallow from Hot Chocolate Lake. | |

Second Conversation[]
Renée's second conversation is unlocked when you reach Lover level with Bearverly. Renée asks if you'd be okay with a Voice Call. After agreeing to it, there is a 4-day cooldown before the voice conversation starts. After the cooldown, an "incoming call" screen appears, which you have to answer before the call can start. To hear Renée's voice, make sure you have your ingame settings for Voice Volume turned up. Even if you cannot hear Renée, the transcript appears on your phone screen as she speaks, much like a normal phone fling.
Instead of a count-down timer between messages, there is a count-up timer to track the minutes you spend on the call. Pauses between voiced messages are just long enough for the audio file associated with the message to play. If a new message shows up before the previous audio is finished, the previous audio is cut off (this can happen if you are too quick to reply).

---|---|---|
1/∞ | Hey! Sorry to bother you, but I've got kind of a weird question that'll be too difficult to text you about. | |
2/∞ | Do you mind if I give you a call instead? | |
(A) | Yeah sure, Renée. Please do. | |
(B) | Wait, you mean like a 'call' call? Like on the phone? Cool! | |
3/∞ | Oh gosh thanks, I appreciate it. | Yes! I mean... You do use the phone to actually hear people talk sometimes, don't you? |
4/∞ | Okay, I'll give you a call. | |
5/∞ | I'm so excited to chat and hear your voice! | |
Pause | 4 day pause | |
You have an incoming call... [Answer] | ||
6/∞ | Hey, it's me. | |
7/∞ | Umm... Renée. You know, like... "Yay. Renée. That girl I know." | |
8/∞ | Thanks for taking my call. I promise I won't take up a lot of your time. | |
(A) | No rush, Renée. What's on your mind? | |
(B) | Wow! Your voice is PRETTY! | |
9/∞ | *giggle* That's kind of you to say. But give me a chance, and I'm sure I could give your patience a stress test. | Oh! Umm... Thank you! Hahaha! You always knew how to randomly shock and surprise me! |
10/∞ | I know this sounds mega awkward and dorky, but... Do you remember chatting like this as kids? | |
11/∞ | Before emails and insta-pictures and sky-peas? We used to talk on the phone for hours. | |
(A) | Oh I remember. I also remember the phone bill that one time you were long distance. | |
(B) | Yeah! We had to use candles after dark. And email was delivered by horse and buggy. | |
12/∞ | That's right! I was visiting my family in Nova Scotia. Uncle Jack fainted when he saw the bill! | Oh, don't tease me, you big meany. It was nice talkign on the phone. It was nice hearing your voice. |
13/∞ | Anyway, that's mostly the reason I called. I was thinking about you today, and thought... | |
14/∞ | Well, I thought maybe I'd give you a call. Just 'cause I wanted to. | |
(A) | I don't 100% believe you. You've always been a terrible liar. | |
(B) | I almost forgot this thing WAS a phone. I'm always texting on it. | |
15/∞ | No no no! I'm not lying. I mean, not really. I'm... Just holding back the whole truth. Because it will make me die from embarrassment and shyness. | Tee hee! Gosh, I know exactly what you mean. My fridge gets text messages now! |
16/∞ | But yeah... You can probably guess that it's not JUST those reasons. | |
17/∞ | Because, you see... I have this friend. She's really smart and confident and awesome. | |
18/∞ | And I was telling her about you. Which makes me a dummy, because I know what happens when I tell her things... | |
19/∞ | Anyway.. She... Dared me to call you. | |
(A) | That cold blooded jerk. I hope you dared her to grow a conscience. | |
(B) | That is now, officially, the least dangerous dare ever dared. | |
20/∞ | Hahaha! No no no, she's okay. She's only, like, a tiiiny sliver of a jerk. Like a little lemon wedge on the side. | That's easy for you to say! I don't even like ordering food on the phone, or... Talking to my dentist or whatever. I get my roommate to do that! |
21/∞ | But she's a good cookie. She just... Knows when I need a little extra courage. | |
22/∞ | Then I either do what she says, or she pins me down and blows raspberries on my tummy. | |
23/∞ | Which I hate! | |
(A) | Raspberries are my kryptonite. It tickles so much I go insane. | |
(B) | Your friend / roommate sounds like a hecking good person. | |
24/∞ | I knoooooow, what is even with that? It's like our tummies were made too soft and adorable for their own good. | Well, don't tell her that. She'll make a sign and hang it on her door. Or rather, she'll get me to do it, because I like arts and crafts. |
25/∞ | Anyway, this is me. | |
26/∞ | Just living out a dare. | |
27/∞ | Daredevil Renée. | |
(A) | You sound awfully happy and content for someone doing a dare. | |
(B) | When it's my turn, I'm going to dare you to eat a bug. | |
28/∞ | Oh! Well, I'm just... Very proud of myself just now. For doing something so stimulating. | You wouldn't! Gosh, it'd be like we were kids again! Always making me put weird stuff in my mouth. |
29/∞ | Uhhh - whoops. Sorry, I said that kind of weird. | |
30/∞ | We have now reached the part of the conversation where you can ignore me. | |
31/∞ | (What are you doing?? You're blowing it!) | |
(A) | Here, I'll say something equally awkward and endearing. I like your face. | |
(B) | Renée - you've got to pull further away from the phone when you're trying to whisper to yourself. | |
32/∞ | Oh. Umm... Thank you. I like your face too. It's very... You. | Oh... Yes! I know! I was just talking to my roommate who is... Blowing out some candles. |
33/∞ | Well, I'm not totally sure how I managed it, but I somehow reached maximum embarrassment in record time. | |
34/∞ | We've only been talking for a few minutes, and I'm already beside myself. My hands are shaking. | |
35/∞ | No one is ever allowed to say calling up people you liked from your past is easy! | |
(A) | Tell me how much you like me. | |
(B) | If I was there, I would literally smooch you to save you from yourself. | |
36/∞ | Oh... You know. I was just young but... I've never forgotten you. Or the way you made me feel. | Oh! Well, that's very... That's a very credible threat. I will remember that for the future. Hahaha! |
37/∞ | Do you remember when we climbed up that sycamore tree behind Ms. Hagon's place? The summer I cut my hair? | |
(A) | Oh yes. I dared you to run through all those spiderwebs. | |
(B) | Oh yes. Your short hair was a whole other level of pretty. | |
38/∞ | Ugh! You're right - it took me four days to get all of those webs out of my hair. | Ahhh! You're trying to distract me with cheeky compliments. But your plan won't work. |
39/∞ | Anyway, we climbed to the top of that tree. Or as near as we could manage. | |
40/∞ | We talked for a long time. And we were arguing about kissing. | |
(A) | I remember. You thought it made you pregnant. | |
(B) | Oh yes - I told you that kissing gave you superpowers. | |
41/∞ | Well, I was VERY foggy on the details, okay? We were still on dial up internet. I couldn't just google this stuff. | And I believed you! And I STILL wasn't sure if I wanted to kiss anyone ever! It was a confusing time! |
42/∞ | Anyway, you leaned over and you kissed me. Just because I asked you to. | |
43/∞ | I wanted to make sure my first kiss was with someone I trusted. Just in case things went haywire. | |
44/∞ | And that kiss was... Very special to me. | |
45/∞ | The way you leaned in, and held your breath and... | |
46/∞ | Well, it was... Memorable. | |
(A) | You smelled like vanilla and bubble gum. | |
(B) | Then that spider in your hair climbed onto my shoulder... | |
47/∞ | That would be the vanilla perfume I stole from my aunt. And my bubble gum! | Oh, that little brute! I screamed so loud. And she was just a tiny thing! Hahaha! |
48/∞ | So now we get to the very long awaited reason I called you. | |
49/∞ | My roommate and I are playing this little truth or dare game, you see. And the question is asking about first kisses. | |
50/∞ | "Was your first kiss also that person's first kiss?" | |
51/∞ | And I... Don't know the answer. Hence the dare. Hence the phone call. Hence Renée feeling absolutely ruined with embarrassment. | |
(A) | You were my first kiss, Renée. Best first kiss ever. | |
(B) | You weren't my first kiss, Renée. But you're the one I remember most. | |
52/∞ | Oh! Oh wow, I didn't think... I mean, I thought... Wow! | Oh! Well, that's... That's a lot better, in many ways. I think. |
53/∞ | Okay. Great. Cool. Question solved. Thanks for letting me call you up out of the blue. | |
54/∞ | I mean, I tried stalking you online first, obviously. But I couldn't find the answer. | |
55/∞ | I'll talk to you later, alright? Have a great day! | |
56/∞ | Buh-bye! I love you! | |
(A) | Uhh... What? | |
(B) | I... Love you too... | |
57/∞ | OH NO! UHH - | Oh! OHHHH! |
58/∞ | Sorry, I - I never talk to anyone on the phone except my Mom | |
59/∞ | And I always say, "Buh-bye! I love you!" | |
60/∞ | Ack! No! Umm! I just! | |
61/∞ | Okay, gotta go, bye! |
Moist Version[]
The NSFW conversation starts to diverge from the SFW conversation when Renée starts to get really flustered at her 29th message (the 24th voiced message). She notices the possible innuendo and becomes much more flustered as a result.

1/43 | Hey you :) | |
2/43 | Are you busy right now? | |
3/43 | I'm staying after hours at work to get some tidying done, and since I'm all alone here, I was hoping you'd be up for keeping me company. | |
4/43 | But if you're bust, I can always pop in an audiobook while I work ^.^ | |
(A) | Absotively poilutely I want to talk to you. | |
(B) | I've got some stuff going on, but I'll gladly ignore it for you. | |
5/43 | Nice vocab you got there ;D | I hope it's nothing important! |
6/43 | Well hey, thanks! | |
7/43 | This will make the rest of my shift go by faster. | |
8/43 | The library's been super busy lately, and there's a huge backlog of books to reshelve. | |
9/43 | I don't mind the task, but it can get pretty tedious after a while. | |
(A) | Why am I not surprised to learn that you work in a library? | |
(B) | No way! You're a librarian? That's so hot! | |
10/43 | Oh yeah! | Haha! Is it? |
11/43 | I guess we've always been so fixated on reminiscing, we haven't really "caught up" with each other. | |
12/43 | I did in fact choose a career based on my love of literature. | |
13/43 | Sadly, there's a lot less "sitting around reading books all day" involved than people think. | |
14/43 | Essentially none, actually. | |
15/43 | Oh boy... The stories I could tell about all the crazy stuff that goes down here! | |
16/43 | But what about you? What do you do? | |
(A) | Oh, y'know... Bit of this, bit of that... | |
(B) | Mostly break people's stuff and then try to make it up to them however I can. | |
17/43 | You're more of an "odd jobs" kind of person, huh? That makes sense. You never could sit still for very long! | I read a book like that once! The protagonist ended up saving the entire world with their antics. |
18/43 | I was always amazed by your seemingly boundless energy. | It was surprisingly heartfelt. Probably one of the best stories ever written to be honest. |
Pause | 5 minutes pause | |
19/43 | So what are you up to right now? | |
(A) | Talking to you :) | |
(B) | Daydreaming about you <3 | |
20/43 | Smart alec. Hehehe. | Eee! Good thing there's no one around to see me blushing! |
21/43 | Well I hope you're having a good time. | I'm really happy to hear that... |
22/43 | I know I am... In fact, I don't think I've had a bad day since we reconnected! | Because I haven't been able to stop daydreaming about you ever since we got back in touch. |
23/43 | I kind of feel like the whole world got brighter and more colorful after that first text you sent me. | |
24/43 | I noticed things a lot more... The sound of birds singing, the way flowers smell, the sweet taste of the raspberry tea I drink each morning, | |
25/43 | Even my coworkers have noticed how much happier I am :) | |
(A) | I feel the same. And all I want is more. | |
(B) | For me it was that first cute selfie you sent. Been obsessed ever since. | |
26/43 | So let's keep talking :) | That's a huge relief considering I took about 30 of those before getting one I thought was cute enough to send you... Lol! |
27/43 | Isn't it incredible, when you stop to think about it, how fate sort of... Brought us back together? | |
28/43 | Either that or this whole thing is one heck of a coincidence. | |
(A) | Fate, coincidence, tangled web of conspiracies - who cares? It's all good baby! | |
(B) | It really does seem like it's meant to be. And who are we to argue with fate? | |
29/43 | Haha, you have a point! Why question a good thing? | I couldn't agree more! |
30/43 | So hey... Do you wanna see what I'm doing right now? | |
31/43 | I mean, this part of my job isn't the most exciting, but I have an idea of how I could make it look pretty good for you. | |
(A) | I do have a soft spot for libraries. | |
(B) | You could make waiting in line to renew your car insurance look good, that's how beautiful you are. | |
32/43 | Do you? That's a little surprising, but also fantastic! | Heehee! You have so much faith in me! |
33/43 | Okay, I'm just gonna run and double check that the doors are locked first. | |
34/43 | I also need to grab another cart of books from the sorting room. | |
35/43 | Be right back. | |
Pause | 5 hours pause | |
36/43 | Hi! | |
37/43 | Did you miss me? | |
(A) | So much! I thought you'd left me forever! | |
(B) | I know you're teasing, but I really did. | |
38/43 | I did say I'd be back. And I always keep my word! | Aww. You're a big softie. |
39/43 | So ah, anyway... | |
40/43 | Here I am. | |
41/43 | Just innocently shelving some books... | |
42/43 | :D | |
43/43 | [Renée photo 4] | |
(A) | Oh wow. If more librarians looked like you... I'd probably know how to read better. | |
(B) | When did you get so cheeky? I mean that in more ways than one! | |
1/20 | Hey... Whatever it takes to encourage those literacy skillz, yo! | I guess I've grown up - in more ways than one! |
2/20 | Reading is lit! Your resident "hot librarian" said so! | You're, um... Definitely seeing a side of me no one ever sees. I usually dress with modesty in mind. |
3/20 | Hahaha, now I'm just laughing to myself in the romance section. | So this feels super inappropriate. |
4/20 | This is very unprofessional. | But exciting! |
5/20 | You definitely bring out my adventurous side. | |
(A) | Speaking of adventurous, I dare you to stand on the highest step of that ladder. | |
(B) | I can see that. Your adventurous side has cherries printed on it. | |
6/20 | You mean the one that always has a "do not stand here" sticker on it? Haha. I dunno, that's pretty daring... | Yep. I love cherries. I used to practice tying the stems into a knot with my tongue! |
7/20 | What happens if I don't? Are you gonna make me jump into a lake? Or maybe... Something else? | I just thought it was a cool skill though. I never realized the implications about... Kissing and stuff... Until more recently. |
8/20 | Oh boy. My brain is going into overdrive. | |
9/20 | I'm never going to get these books shelved at this rate. | |
(A) | Just stick them wherever! It's fine! | |
(B) | Tell your boss there was a run-on sentence emergency you couldn't complete your tasks! | |
10/20 | I just gasped so hard I choked a little. | Ah, yes I can imagine the formal reprimand now... |
11/20 | You do not just "stick it wherever" when it comes to library books. There's a system! | "Emergencies should be scheduled for days when you're not working..." |
12/20 | Granted, it's a system that's arguably in need of a massive overhaul to bring it into this century... But still. | Haha, just kidding. Our staff policies are a bit more reasonable than that... Usually :) |
13/20 | Anyway, I've been named "employee of the month" six times now. | |
14/20 | So what if I'm slightly less productive than usual today? | |
15/20 | What are they gonna do, fire me? | |
16/20 | Okay, now I need to quickily knock on wood, just in case. Don't wanna jinx anything! | |
Pause | 3 hours pause | |
17/20 | Oh! | |
18/20 | I fell! | |
(A) | Seriously? Are you okay? | |
(B) | For me, right? ;D | |
19/20 | I think so... | Haha... Well... |
20/20 | [Renée photo 5] | |
1/56 | But oh, nnooo... Look at what a terrrrriiiibly compromising position I've ended up in... | |
(A) | Aww, man... Now you've gotta write an incident report for HR! You're not actually hurt, right? | |
(B) | Oh no! Are you hurt? I'm going to have to run over there and kiss it better! | |
2/56 | Only my Pride and Prejudice. | How sweet of you! |
3/56 | Some of the pages got bent, but it's my personal copy, not the library's, so it's okay. | I think I, um... Might have bitten my lip when I fell? Maybe? It sort of hurts... |
4/56 | (I know my flirting game is sad and awkward. Please be nice.) | |
(A) | I'm always nice. And you're downright adorable. | |
(B) | Nope, not sad or awkward at all. I'm completely enamored by you. | |
5/56 | Yeah, you are... And thanks ^-^ | That's such a great word. "Enamored." |
Pause | 5 minutes pause | |
6/56 | Maybe it's weird to say this, but... I miss you. | |
7/56 | Even though we haven't seen each other in years. | |
8/56 | I miss you, and I miss you more every day. | |
(A) | Well, we should get together sometime. Have coffee. Catch up. | |
(B) | Don't build me up too much in your head... I might disappoint you when we finally meet again. | |
9/56 | Hmm... Every time I run into someone and we say we should go for coffee, it never ends up happening :P | You think we're going to meet again? |
10/56 | Not that I think you're giving me the runaround. I know you wouldn't do that to me. | I mean, like... You'd be interesting in that? |
11/56 | And... Yeah. | Because... I definitely am. |
12/56 | You have no idea how much I would love to see you. | |
(A) | Probably not half as much as I'd love to see you. | |
(B) | You have no idea how much I'D love to see YOU - times a thousand, times infinity! HA! | |
13/56 | Of course your first reaction is to turn it into a contest :P | What the hey? Are you trying to pick a fight? XD |
14/56 | Listen, anything you can do, I can do better - including being excited to see my old friend. | |
(A) | Hey, I'm not old T.T | |
(B) | There's only one way to determine that: a game of badminton. | |
15/56 | You know what I meant!!! | Oh my goodness, I haven't played since I was a kid! |
16/56 | I would never call you old, because that would mean I'm old too :P | No way, I do not agree to this. My athletic ability definitely doesn't line up with my general excitment and/or interest in you. |
17/56 | Gosh... Do you remember how competitive we used to get? | |
18/56 | We'd challenge each other to see who could talk the fastest, or hold a note the longest. | |
19/56 | If you said you knit a sweater, I'd say it would fit me better. | |
20/56 | Oh, and that go-karting game you had! It seemed like every round we played was a tie-breaker. | |
(A) | You were a worthy opponent. | |
(B) | Pfft. I could beat you at that game with my eyes closed. | |
21/56 | Yeah, I used to let you win sometimes. | Oh yeah? Why didn't you, then? :P |
22/56 | Haha. | |
23/56 | I'd forgotten all about that until just now. | |
24/56 | Wow... | |
25/56 | All these buried memories keep coming to the surface. | |
26/56 | It's sort of amazing. | |
(A) | We can pick things up right where we left off. Just name a time and place. | |
(B) | Legit. I'm remembering things I never knew happened. | |
27/56 | What about... Right here, right now? | It sure feel like that sometimes, doesn't it? |
28/56 | Hehe... | |
29/56 | I'll be honest with you... My head and my heart feel like they're overflowing. | |
30/56 | The idea of seeing you again, touching you again - it's literally making me dizzy. | |
31/56 | I read once that excitment and nervousness are the exact same feeling, and it's just our mindset that determines the way we experience it. | |
32/56 | My mindset is... Confused. | |
33/56 | Can you just tell me one thing? | |
(A) | Ask me anything. | |
(B) | I can probably tell you lots of things. Like, did you know cows have best friends? | |
34/56 | Okay. | First off, that is so sweet it makes me want to cry. Secondly, I actually wanted to ask you a serious question, silly :P |
35/56 | If and when we do meet up, do you really think that there will be... Something between us? | |
36/56 | I mean, I know I've been pretty forward with the flirting, and I've told you how I feel... | |
37/56 | And you've been so nice about it! You've made me feel really good. | |
38/56 | I just want to make sure... Is it all talk? Just for fun? Or is it really real? | |
39/56 | Whatever your answer is, it's okay! | |
40/56 | You mean so much to me, and nothing will ever change that. | |
41/56 | Maybe we're just meant to be friends. Maybe we're meant for more. | |
42/56 | Either way, I'm just so grateful to have had you in my life... | |
(A) | Sorry, what was the question? You just keep sending more words. | |
(B) | Shhh. You're thinking too hard. | |
43/56 | Sorry! Ack. Um. | Again? Darn it. |
44/56 | I'm just trying to figure out what to expect, going forward. | |
45/56 | So I can amanage my expectations, if need be. | |
(A) | Renée, I really do think there could be something real between us. | |
(B) | Look, I don't ever "just talk" - I mean what I say. | |
46/56 | That's... Good. That's a relief. | Okay. Good. Thank you. |
47/56 | I'm glad we're both open to it, at the very least. | |
48/56 | But I guess the only way to really know for sure is to actually see each other, and see how we feel. Right? | |
(A) | All right, so I'll head over now, or...? | |
(B) | So we're doing this? Sweet! I already can't wait. When are you free? | |
49/56 | Eep! | Oh gosh. Okay. |
50/56 | How about... I'll take a look at my schedule and let you know? | |
(A) | Just say the word and I'll be there with bells on. | |
(B) | Sure, but I hope it's sooner rather than later. | |
51/56 | Amazing! | I promise, it will. |
52/56 | So... I'll see you then :) | |
53/56 | Oh, before I go. | |
54/56 | Here. | |
55/56 | Have one more pic for the evening. Just to tie things off in a nice little bow. | |
Pause | 8 hours pause | |
56/56 | [Renée photo 6] | |
1/∞ | Thanks for keeping me company. | |
2/∞ | Bye for now <3 |

1/43 | Hey you :) | ||||
2/43 | Are you busy right now? | ||||
3/43 | I'm staying after hours at work to get some tidying done, and since I'm all alone here, I was hoping you'd be up for keeping me company. | ||||
4/43 | But if you're busy, I can always pop in an audiobook while I work ^.^ | ||||
(A) | Absotively poilutely I want to talk to you. | ||||
(B) | I've got some stuff going on, but I'll gladly ignore it for you. | ||||
5/43 | Nice vocab you got there ;D | I hope it's nothing important! | |||

26/43 | Sounds like you've got a lot of... "Pent up feelings" ;) | ||||
27/43 | Oh gosh, look at me putting on such a show of confidence. | ||||
28/43 | ...And then totally destroying the illusioin by calling direct attention to it. | ||||
(A) | You need to stop second guessing yourself. It's too sexy! I can't handle it! | ||||
(B) | It's cool. I've got enough confidence for the both of us B) | ||||
29/43 | You're weird XD | LOL! With a statement like that, who could argue? XD | |||
30/43 | So do you, um... Wanna see how I look when I'm at work? | ||||
31/43 | Or at least... How I look when I'm alone at work and thinking about you? ;) | ||||
(A) | There's a difference? Hell yeah I wanna see. | ||||
(B) | Is that winky face promising what I think it's promising? | ||||
32/43 | There is a BIG difference. I'd never work like this in front of other staff or patrons. | Yes, I believe it is. | |||
33/43 | Okay, I'm just gonna run and double check that the doors are locked first. | ||||
34/43 | I also need to grab another cart of books from the sorting room. | ||||

(A) | If I didn't know any better I'd say you were trying to seduce me! | ||||
(B) | I just remembered I have some overdue library books. Wait right there, I'll bring them to you. | ||||
1/20 | Now who's second guessing themselves? | You know there are actually book drop locations situated all around town! So you can return your items easily without having to travel all the way to an actual library branch. | |||
2/20 | Like I said, this shelving task gets a little tedious. I thought it might be fun to... | Oh. | |||
3/20 | Well... | You meant... | |||
4/20 | Have a little fun. | Hahaha >.< | |||
5/20 | So... What now? Any ideas? | ||||
(A) | The way you're standing on that ladder... I could just walk up and bury my face right in your pussy. | ||||
(B) | I dare you to do a ladder dance. It's like a pole dance, but nerdier and sexier. | ||||
6/20 | Oh, yeah... With your hands grabbing my hips? | Haha. You mean like... Grind my hips against the ladder rungs? Sway my hips and arch my back? Do the bend and snap? | |||
7/20 | I'm getting wet just imagining it... I didn't even know I could get turned on so fast. | ...I already feel like I'm never going to look at a ladder the same way ever again. | |||
8/20 | Oh boy. My brain is going into overdrive. | ||||
9/20 | I'm never going to get these books shelved at this rate. | ||||

39/56 | Whatever your answer is, it's okay! | ||||
(B) | Shhh. You're thinking too hard. | ||||
43/56 | Sorry! Ack. Um. | Again? Darn it. | |||
44/56 | I'm just trying to figure out what to expect, going forward. | ||||
45/56 | So I can manage my expectations, if need be. | ||||
(A) | Renée, I really do think there could be something real between us. | ||||
(B) | Look, I don't ever "just talk" - I mean what I say. | ||||
46/56 | That's... Good. That's a relief. | Okay. Good. Thank you. | |||
47/56 | I'm glad we're both open to it, at the very least. | ||||
48/56 | But I guess the only way to really know for sure is to actually see each other, and see how we feel. Right? | ||||
(A) | All right, so I'll head over now, or...? | ||||
(B) | So we're doing this? Sweet! I already can't wait. When are you free? | ||||
49/56 | Eep! | Oh gosh. Okay. | |||
50/56 | How about... I'll take a look at my schedule and let you know? | ||||
(A) | Just say the word and I'll be there with bells on. | ||||
(B) | Sure, but I hope it's sooner rather than later. | ||||
51/56 | Amazing! | I promise, it will. | |||
52/56 | So... I'll see you then :) | ||||
53/56 | Oh, before I go. | ||||
54/56 | Here. | ||||
55/56 | Have one more pic for the evening. Just to tie things off in a nice little bow. | ||||
Pause | 8 hours pause | ||||
56/56 | [NSFW Photo] | ||||
1/∞ | Thanks for keeping me company. | ||||
2/∞ | Bye for now <3 |
Dialogue List[]
First Meeting[]
- You arrive at the library early for your reunion with Renée, intending to check out a few books in an effort to impress her. There's a pretentious-looking tome on a high shelf that calls you, so you pull over the ladder and start to climb.
- The book is ginormous, and really heavy. You struggle to keep your balance at the top of the ladder. You wibble, then you wobble, and suddenly...
- Dewey Decimal System -CRUSHED!
- You watch in horror as the shelving unit falls, knocking down the next one, which knocks down the next one, and the next one, and the...You get the picture. When the dust finally settles, you turn to see Renée. She's super surprised to see you! Do you think she noticed the mess?
Adversary[]
- Oh. My. Gosh. The head librarian is going to terminate my employment if she sees this! Quick, help me put everything back!
Sorry[]
- Welcome to the library! You know how to use the Dewey Decimal System, right? Well, then, let's book it over to the 025s!
- Don't get me wrong - it's great to see you! I noticed you've finally grown into your ears, so that's - y'know - congratulations! But right now, I really, REALLY, need to get these books cleaned up.
- Maybe we should flee. Just lean into it, y'know? We'll be like Bonnie and Clyde, except instead of robbing banks we'll mess up libraries. What am I saying? That's a terrible idea!
- I knew you were a bit clumsy, but this... This is a real blunder. A serious mishap. An actual catastrophe - a full-fledged flub up! Sorry, sorry, I use synonyms as a alternative to swear words.
Poke[]
- *Hey! Don't letterpress your luck, buddy.
Gift[]
- Hm. Curiouser and curiouser..
Upgrade to Nuisance[]
- That's one way to break the ice. AT least I'm not nervous about meeting up with you anymore! Y'know, because I'm too busy panicking over all the scattered books and broken stuff.
- But, um...Hi! Long time no see. How's...life?
Nuisance[]
- I can't believe you're really here. I almost didn't recognize you! Actually... That's not true. I could never forget your face, not even in a trillion years.
Sorry[]
- I knew you were a bit clumsy, but this... This is a real blunder. A serious mishap. An actual catastrophe - a full-fledged flub up! Sorry, sorry, I use synonyms as a alternative to swear words.
- This is fine. Everything is fine. I'm fiiiine.
- I can't believe you're really here! Look, my hands are shaking - first date jitters! Heehee! Oh, not that this is a date, of course! I just mean I'm happy you're here, in a normal - um - friendly way!
- Do you know how heavy those bookshelves are? We could've been killed. Or worse - banned from the library!
Poke[]
- Ahaha! Nooo! You remembered my old ticklish spot!
Gift[]
- Hm. Curiouser and curiouser..
Upgrade to Frenemy[]
- Well, I may not have grown up to be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure seeker, or a gunfighter, but I'm proud of what I am.
- I... Am a librarian.
Frenemy[]
- Things sure have changed a lot since we were kids, huh? You're cooler than ever, and I... Finally got the bewbs I always wanted! Haha.
Sorry[]
- I can't find the words to express how good it is to see you again. And that's saying something, because I'm a logophile - I know a LOT of words.
- Can I just say... Time has been good to you. I mean, you were always... You were always cute. But you've definatly had a glow up. I'd say puberty did you right! Hehe.
- This is fine. Everything is fine. I'm fiiiine.
- Do you know how heavy those bookshelves are? We could've been killed. Or worse - banned from the library!
- I feel like I have so much to tell you. I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I'm hopin it'll come up naturally in conversation. Can you start us off?
- Sooo... Do you like to travel? Me, I'm an armchair traveler. My library card is my passport - to the wonderful and quite unpredictable world of books!
- Id always thought you'd grow up to be a comedian... Or a demonlition expert. I guess I wasn't too far off.
- Remember how I used to read you those fantasy books, A Melody of Frost and Flame? And how I was soooo excited for the next one in the series to come out? Yeah, it still hasn't. I'm still waiting.
- Talk about a plot twist! I was expecting our reunion to be like one of those Nickel Sparks novels... a bit more sweet? Calm? Less likely to get me fired?
Poke[]
- Ahaha! Nooo! You rememebered my old ticklish spot!
Gift[]
- This is great! I was looking for something to keep me occupied while I wait for my interlibrary loan to arrive.
Upgrade to Acquaintance[]
- Wanna hear some word facts?
- A single piece of confetti is called a confetto. The word "set" has more definitions than any other word. And poecilonym is a synonym for "synonym"!
Acquaintance[]
- I organize my bookshelves by color. Take a look - it's my reading rainbow.
Talk[]

- I can't find the words to express how good it is to see you again. And that's saying something, because I'm a logophile - I know a LOT of words.
- I joined a literature club in high school. It was suuuper cute... At first. Then the club president had a nervous breakdown and threatened to "delete us from the game files" - whatever THAT means.
Poke[]
- Ahaha! Nooo! You rememebered my old ticklish spot!
- Heeheehee! You've clearly been practicing... Heehee!
Gift[]
- This is great! I was looking for something to keep me occupied while I wait for my interlibrary loan to arrive.
Upgrade to Friendzone[]
- My monthly subscription box of Japanese snacks arrived! Do you want to come over and try them with me?
- Yay! I can't wait! Just promise you won't hog all the candy, or I'll get you. Tee hee!
Friendzone[]
- You were my favorite person when we were kids... And you're still my favorite person now. Best friends forever!
Talk[]
- Past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense. Haha! Yeah, my sense of humor hasn't changed much over the years.
- I was a little worried that it might be hard to talk to you after all this time... But it's sort of like we just picked back up where we left off, isn't it?
- I've really missed you. And... Um... Also book reports. And bubble gum tape. I miss a lot of things from when I was a kid! If only we had a time machine.
- Did you know that "e" is the most common letter in the English language? It's also the most common letter in my name! Pretty cool, huh?
- I'll never forget the last time I saw you. I watched you through the car window as we drove away... It was pouring down rain, then a sad song started playing on the radio, and you chased after us down the road until you... Tripped and did a faceplant in the mud. Hehe.
- I was seriously running out of shelf space, so I built a new bookcase... Out of books! Isn't that ingenious? Now I have room for TONS more!
- Remember when we found that abandoned treehouse in the woods? We used to swing across the creek on a rope, and pretend we were crossing into a magical fantasy world. But then the rope broke, and... We grew up.
Poke[]
- Ahaha! Nooo! You rememebered my old ticklish spot!
Gift[]
- Look at you, big spender! You've certainly become more generous with age.
Upgrade to Awkward Besties[]
- Wanna know an embarrassing secret? I used to tell my classmates that I was dating someone "from a different school"... And show them pictures of you.
- Maybe one day I'll take you to my class reunion, and we can finally convince them I was telling the truth all along? Heehee!
Awkward Besties[]
- ISBN thinking about you... Haha, sorry for all the library jokes - I'll put them on hold. Oops, there I go again! I just can't help myself!
Flirt[]
- Did you know that "e" is the most common letter in the English language? It's also the most common letter in my name! Pretty cool, huh?
- I'll never forget the last time I saw you. I watched you through the car window as we drove away... It was pouring down rain, then a sad song started playing on the radio, and you chased after us down the road until you... Tripped and did a faceplant in the mud. Hehe.
- I might die from embarrassment and shyness if I say this, but... Eee! I'm gonna say it anyway! You were my first crush who wasn't a fictional character!
- Past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense. Haha! Yeah, my sense of humor hasn't changed much over the years.
- You're even sweeter and funnier than I remember. And more of a troublemaker! Some people become so different when they grow up, but you... You just became more you.
- Remember when we found that abandoned treehouse in the woods? We used to swing across the creek on a rope, and pretend we were crossing into a magical fantasy world. But then the rope broke, and... We grew up.
- Whats your deepest, darkest secret? I stole a book once. I skipped school and spent the whole day reading in my secret hideout, completely sucked in by the fantastical story of rock giants and racing snails and dog dragons... *sigh* Sometimes I wish that story had never ended.
Poke[]
- Ooo! Hahah. Did you mean to do that?
Gift[]
- Look at you, big spender! You've certainly become more generous with age.
Upgrade to Crush[]
- Wanna see my vision board? It's got all kinds of pictures of things that make me happy, and things I want out of life... And yes, there's a picture of me and you on there.
- I know it sounds a little hokey, but maybe that's what brought us back together?
Crush[]
- An old song came on the radio earlier - the one I listened to on repeat the summer we visited Hot Chocolate Lake for the last time. "I wanna be your summer love, summer love!" - you know, that one?
Flirt[]
- Thanks to my small stature, I get to dress up as Ribbit Reader during special library events! That's the library's mascot, by the way- it's a huge, hot, stuffy frog costume, and boy do I love it. Any chance you're into girls dressed like animals? I could be your frog princess.
- You and me sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s--i-n-g! Ugh, that's been stuck in my head all day now. Oh, but it's just the annoying tune that bothers me - not the general, um, concept. For your imformation.
- We're like... Hermione and Ron, or Sherlock and Watson - the best of friends, destined to be lovers! Depending on which part of the story and/or fanfiction you're reading.
- I was talking to my mom on the phone earlier, telling her about how we've reconnected. Suffice it to say - she ships us. Hee hee. Also she says hi!
- The library has more to offer than just books, you know. You could take out a movie, or a video game, or... Me? Heehee.
Poke[]
- Ooo! Hahah. Did you mean to do that?
Gift[]
- This is just like when Beast gave Belle her great big library! Oh, I've never felt so spoiled. That you!
Upgrade to Sweetheart[]
- I just got these new glasses frames - what do you think? I was going for a "sexy smart" thing, but I'm not sure...
- Judging by your expression, I'm guessing you like them? Hee hee... Now what if I were to take them off and bite them a little?
Sweetheart[]
- Remember when we were young and people would always tell us that we were too young to know what love was? Do you think we're old enough now?
Flirt[]
- My to-read pile is growing dangerously tall. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, it's probably because my books toppled over during the night and buried me-while I slept. Don't mourn me - it's how I would want things to end.
- The library has more to offer than just books, you know. You could take out a movie, or a video game, or... Me? Heehee.
- Someday I'd love to settle down in a nice house with a white picket fence and a garden for all my dogs... But I'd also love to run away to Japan and become an English teacher and live in one of those micro-apartments, you know? Ah, why can't I magically do both at the same time!?
- Heehee... Heeheehee... Oops! Was I staring at you? Sorry! You're just... Um... Really cute. I'm beside myself! This whole thing is a dream come true.
- Thanks to my small stature, I get to dress up as Ribbit Reader during special library events! That's the library's mascot, by the way- it's a huge, hot, stuffy frog costume, and boy do I love it. Any chance you're into girls dressed like animals? I could be your frog princess.
Poke[]
- Ooo! Hahah. Did you mean to do that?
Gift[]
- Aww! I really appreciate this. No, really, I'm so grateful. So thankful. I owe you one!
Upgrade to Girlfriend[]
- When I think too hard about it, I just can't believe we found each other after so many years apart. It seems impossible.
- Then again, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast...
Girlfriend[]
- I double-dog dare you... To kiss me! Heehee!
Flirt[]
- Someday I'd love to settle down in a nice house with a white picket fence and a garden for all my dogs... But I'd also love to run away to Japan and become an English teacher and live in one of those micro-apartments, you know? Ah, why can't I magically do both at the same time!?
- Look at us - a pair of old flames, a quiet library in a quiant little town... All we need is a murder victim and we got ourselves a cozy mystery! We'll call it... "If Books Could Kill".
Poke[]
- Ahaha! Eee! Oohhh, my abs are starting to hurt from laughing so much. It's the best feeling! Hahaha!
Gift[]
- Aww! I really appreciate this. No, really, I'm so grateful. So thankful. I owe you one!
Upgrade to Lover[]
- I... Am very fond of you. I fact, I cherish you. I adore you. I'm hopelessly devoted to you.
- Okay... I'm so nervous to say it, but I'm going to say it anyway. I love you.
Lover[]
- Everytime I see you, my heart does this happy little flutter. I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet.
- I love your nose. It's so much fun to kiss and boop!
- I read somewhere that staring into your lover's eyes can make your heartbeats synchronize. Mine goes super fast when I look into yours... What about you?
- Our love is canon. But I'd still write fanfics about us.
- Aristotle said, "Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies." That would explain why I've never felt complete without you by my side.
- Promise me we'll always be this happy. No, don't promise... Pinky swear. It's the most sacred of vows, after all - you taught me that.
- [Naked] Shhhh. I like it nice and quiet.
- [Naked] It may not seem like it, but i still feel pretty shy a lot of the time. Do... Do you think I'm beautiful?
- [Naked] Plot twist! I'm totally nude and in the mood. Now talk wordy to me.
Seduce[]
- I was reading through some of my old diary entries about us, and I realized something - this would make a fantastic romance novel! I always thought I might try and write a book someday... What do you think? Am I dreaming too big? Or not big enough!?
- I'd love to go on a romantic weekend getaway. Think about it - you and me in a cozy cabin up at Hot Chocolate Lake, reminiscing about all our old memories... And making wonderful new ones.
- I was scared you'd be different somehow... And that all my happy memories would be tarnished. But actually, having you in my life again has made those memories shine brighter than ever! Thank you... For being you.
- Can I rest my head on your shoulder? I just need to close my eyes for a few minutes. I accidentally stayed up until 2 AM reading this surprisingly engaging cookbook, "Recipes for Disaster."
- Not many people get to say that their first love turned out to be their true love. We are the lucky ones.
- I hope you don't mind me checking you out. I can't help it... I'm a librarian. *Wink* Hehe!
- The next time someone tells me they don't believe in fate, I'm going to tell them about us. I bet our love story would top the nonfiction bestsellers chart in no time!
- Is it okay if I take some measurements? Not to ruin the surprise, but... I'm knitting you a sweater! Also matching socks. I'm almost did underwear too, but "itchy" is not the feeling I'm hoping to inspire in... That... Area.
- I can be a little bit particular. If I like something, I stick with it. That's why I bought twenty pairs of the exact same underwear. Rest assured - once you're mine, I'll never replace you.
- I dunno about you, but I'd say we have some real textual chemistry.
- If you were a library book, I'd never return you. I'd still pay he late fees, of course. It's only 10 cents a day, and it's the right thing to do!
- I was going through my keepsake box, and I found one of those old pencil-and-paper fortune telling games we used to play! It said I'd grow up to live in a shoe, drive a helicopter, have seventeen thousand kids... And marry you.
- Do you still have a bicycle? I'd love to ride on the handlebars again, for old time's sake... We could go to the corner store and get some snacks! You still like Pokey and Fountain Dew?
- Remember that time we "got married" in front of that big maple tree? But then neither of us wanted to kiss because of cooties! Haha! I guess that means it probably wasn't legally binding, huh?
- I was telling my friend about the first time I saw you, and how I was totally awestruck... And how even though I was too young to know what the feeling was, I knew instantly that you would always be special to me. Then I looked over and she was blubbering like a baby!
- I spent so many years believing my feelings for you were unrequited... When you told me you liked me too, it made my heart so happy! If only we'd confessed to each other back then... See, THIS is why people shouldn't keep secrets! Especially not love secrets!
- Bored? Read a book! No harm ever came from reading a book. Unless it was an ancient magical book with the power to unleash a cursed mummy hell-bent on resurrecting his dead lover, in which case, yeah, you might have a problem.
- I love reading. I'll read anything. Western, sci-fi, noir... Biographies, memoirs, coffee table books... Anything! The only thing I don't like is poetry, so you'd better not have written me any cheesy poems!
- Wanna play Truth or Dare? I'll go first. I pick truth. The truth is, I'm smitten! And you're the object of my many affections, forever and always. Dare you to go on another date with me!
- I love the way you smell. You smell like summertime and happiness and all my favorite memories. Is it okay if I just... Hug you and breathe really deeply? *Sniiiff* Aahhh…
- E-readers are great for travelling! And also for reading certain... Types of books. The types of books one might not wish others to know one enjoys, if you know what I mean?
- You wanna know what I miss most about elementary school? Book fairs. Those were the best. Yes, I am a nerd - don't act like you're not into it!
- My family used to say that you and I were joined at the hip. I don't know... I think we were actually joined at the heart.
- [Naked] I've never been skinny dipping before, but I've secretly always wanted to. What do you say we book a weekend up at Hot Chocolate Lake? Just you, me and the crystal clear-water.
- [Naked] I'm pretty comfortable being nude, but gosh... Every time you look at me, my hands start to shake and my heart starts to pound. I just thought you should know what you're doing to me.
- [Naked] I showed you mine... Now you show me yours!
- [Naked] I'm planning a 'Freedom to Read" display at the library. It's all about how libraries fight censorship! I'm sure you'll agree, uncensored is best - right?
- [Naked] You have some very overdue library books. I should punish you with a big, big... Late fee.
- [Naked] Women who regularly read erotica have a much higher libido, you know. Statistically speaking.
- [Naked] Oh hey, i was just in the middle of reading "The Physical Manifestation of Arranging books in Alphanumerical Order Gets Me Off With The Help Of My Sentient Bisexual Bookshelf" by Truck Pringle, aka my favorite erotica author. I read it for laughs, i swear!
- [Naked] Brrr... It's cold in here. I suppose i could get dressed, but if you're okay with it, I'd rather snuggle up in your arms.
Poke[]
- Ahaha! Eee! Oohhh, my abs are starting to hurt from laughing so much. It's the best feeling! Hahaha!
- My face feels hot. Am I blushing? I still get butterflies whenever you touch me!
- Eeeheehee! I'm SO getting you back for that - when and where you least expect it!
- [Naked] OO! You surprised me. It's okay... I like surprises. Hint-hint. Wink-wink.
- [Naked] Are you trying to put your library book in my return slot?
- [Naked] Ha ha ha! Hey, is this some kind of foreshadowing?
- [Naked] Teeheehee! Nooo! Don't tickle me while I'm naked! It's not faaiiirr!
Gift[]
- This is AMAZING! You're amazing! Eeee! I need to hug you super tight so you know how much I love this.
- Wow... You remembered! I always loved these when I was a kid. Gosh, I'm really touched.
- This is unexpected and incredible! You've really upped your game since that time you handed me a pinecone and said it was a gift. Of course, I loved that too - it's tucked away in my special keepsake box!
- Eeee!!! I love this so much! I wish I could get you something half as good in return... For now, how about a kiss? *Mwah!*
- [School Uniform] I always wished you and I could have gone to the same school. Just think - you and me skipping class together, making out under the bleachers, being voted "Cutest Couple" in the yearbook... *Sigh*
- [Bathing Suit] What do you think of this? Kinda different from what i wore back in the day... I hope you like it, because that would be a pretty good... DISTRACTION! Last one in the lake's a rotten egg! Haha!
- [Diamond Ring] I'm more than ready to enter this new chapter of our lives. Assuming we're on the same page, let's book it to the chapel!
- [Holiday Outfit] I feel so pretty in this! Like a winter princess. I really hope capes come back into fashion - if there's one thing better than a sweater when it's cold out, it's a cape.
- [Lingerie] The plot thickens as the prim librarian sheds her daily uniform, revealing her sexy underthings... Will the love interest make a move?
- [Birthday Suit] Teeheehee! I feel like a hardcover without a dust jacket. So daring!
Date[]
- [Moonlight Stroll] That was so romantic... Like something out of a novel. Although, if this were a novel, something terrible would most likely happen in the next scene in order to further the plot. Good thing this is real life!
- [Beach] I know I'm an adult, but I still pretend I'm a mermaid whenever I go swimming. I am not ashamed.
- [Sightseeing] That was even more beautiful than the travel brochure described!
- [Movie Theater] Meh. The book was better. I'm pretty miffed they left out the whole part about the dinosaur astronaut. Oh, don't get me wrong, I still had an amazing time with you! I definatly want to do it again.
Dialogue about Ayeka[]
- Grrr... Someone's been going around saying libraries are "obsolete" and a "waste of taxpayer money." I HATE people like that! No, actually, worse - I feel sorry for people like that.
- I can't find my diary. Have you seen it? Oh gosh, I hope it wasn't stolen - what if someone reads it and finds out I unironically like sparkly vampires? Eep! That was supposed to stay a secret!
- This is going to make me sound super paranoid, but I think someone stole all the little marshmallows out of my container of hot chocolate mix. The question is: why? And also... Just... WHY?
- A knife came through the library's book return yesterday. Spooky! Anyway, I put it in the lost and found - those fancy chef's knives can be really expensive, so I'm sure whoever left it will want it back!
- Someone came into the library today and checked out every single true crime book in our collection. When I asked her about it, she said it was for "plotting" purposes...? Hopefully she's just writing a book and not planning an actual murder! Haha!
- I received a threatening letter in the mail today... But it was so riddled with errors I couldn't help marking it up with edits! Maybe I was a teacher in my past life?
