The Spring Fling Event is an Easter-Limited event. It started on Thursday April 13th, lasts for four days, and ends on April 17th.
This Event takes place within a Parallel Universe, where Time blocks, Reset boosts, and everything else are completely reset. You must start from scratch.
Similar to other Parallel Universe Events, this Event features "Goals", which can be completed to earn various Event-Exclusive rewards, as Jelly Beans, the Event-Exclusive currency identical to Diamonds. Upon completing every goal, a new girl Pepper is unlocked within the original universe/main game (after Event ends).
Upon entering the Event, you're greeted with an opening cutscene/dialogue which plays out as the following:
(You find yourself somewhere both familiar and not familiar. It's almost like you've stepped into...)
(A PARALLEL UNIVERSE!)
(The sky is clear and blue. A butterfly flutters by. In the distance you see a very pretty...girl? bunny? skipping through a field of wildflowers towards you.)
Mallory: Oh dear, I'm late! I'm late for a very important festival!
Mallory: Are you heading to the festival too? We can scurry over together! C'mon, I'll show you the way!
You then exit the Dialogue, and are greeted by Qpiddy explaining the event:
Welcome to the Spring Fling Event! This limited-time event takes place in a parallel universe filled with fresh flowers, chocolate eggs, and cute little bunnies. How cheerful!
In this universe, all your delightful jobs and candy-coated hobbies start at level 0. The same goes for any girls you meet, and they'll pay out Jelly Beans as you get to know them!
Make sure you spend your Jelly Beans while you can! Since Jelly Beans can't travel between universes, you won't be able to keep them once the Spring Fling Event ends.
The good news is, Diamonds CAN travel between universes! That means your Diamonds are shared between the Spring Fling Event and your main game.
By the way, you'll earn rewards based on the progress you make during the Spring Fling Event. You can claim your rewards in the "Goals" tab.
At the end of the event, any Outfits or Character rewards you've earned will travel back through the portal with you to your main game.
Just remember, Speed Boosts, Time Blocks, and Jelly Beans CAN'T travel back with you, so spend them before the timer runs out!
Oh, and just so you know, you can return to the main game any time by going to the "Return" tab!

One thing that should be noted, is that Gilding a job/hobby only costs 3 jellybeans, as opposed to the expected 10. The buff from gilding remains the same (16x Money on jobs, 16x speed on hobbies)
